Heal Your Gut and Transform Your Life in 5 Weeks
My name is Autumn Hill. Thank you for taking the time to read my story about why I started learning about gut health.
From age 11, I dealt with constipation, bloating, and terrible gas. I had constant headaches as a child and teenager and didn’t understand why. As an adult and mom of four great kids, my body wasn’t bouncing back to what I wanted and needed it to be. I faced many issues, such as constipation, headaches, mood swings, anxiety, seasonal depression, hair loss, and difficulty managing my weight despite eating clean and exercising. I looked bloated 90% of the time, lacked confidence in my body, and didn't have the energy to be the mom, wife, and person I wanted to be.
After my fourth baby, I had mesh put in to help "fix" a large umbilical hernia. This did not improve my quality of life and caused many problems, so I had it removed through a tummy tuck and also fixed diastasis recti (separation of the abdominal muscles from pregnancy). Despite this, I still looked bloated and pregnant, which was frustrating. My kids even asked if I was having another baby—talk about disappointing. I tried various diets, including microwave meals, and despite losing 10 pounds, a retail worker still asked if I was expecting. Wow! It was time to find something that would actually heal my body instead of just focusing on losing weight.
After focusing on gut health for the last 3.5 years and taking gut health vitamins, I no longer have constipation, have better monthly cycles and libido, less anxiety and seasonal depression, improved hair, skin, and nails, and have lost 7 inches (2.25 inches just in my belly) and 7 pounds of fat! I have gone down two shirt sizes and three pant sizes. My favorite part about healing my gut is that my mind and mental health have also improved, and I feel more confident in my body, less anxious, and have more energy for my kids and my hubby!
After 3.5 years of using supplements for digestive problems, I wanted to learn more, so I became certified as a Holistic Gut Practitioner and did a 5-week Gut Restoration program focusing on sleep, stress, movement, and food. This protocol made me realize even more how a gut healthy diet, sleep, stress, and movement can change everything in your health journey. Now I get to share this knowledge with you. It's a wonderful blessing to educate others and work together to find what works for each individual.
We are all unique, and we each have a unique way of working with our bodies to get the best out of them.
Gut health has changed my life, and it all started because I took a chance on some gut health vitamins several years ago and continued learning about what my body and mind needs and wants!
